If you are printing a dark or light colored label and have a multi-nozzle printer, paint the text floors a contrasting color.
I got tired of having to stencil text onto this spool label model every time I bought a new filament, so I build a tool that generates the text instead. After popular demand, I've now made spool tags, so you can all get the same full filament out of this tool as I do.
If you have a rod/pole filament shelf, choose the size that matches your pole diameter, fill in the brand, type, and color, and download your .stl file. The clip grips onto the pole, and the interchangeable labels attach to the clip. Don't have a rod/pole filament shelf? You might not get as much out of this tool as I do.
